FR-5M3424 is a new generation Gigabit Managed PoE Switch with 24-Port 10/100/1000Base-TX and 4xCombo Gigabit (TP+SFP) that provide stable and reliable Ethernet transmission offered by Fiberroad, with high quality design and reliability. It is positioning in the broadband network market, to offer and realize Ethernet data exchange, convergence and long-distance optical transmission with efficient bandwidth and reliable fiber optic network solutions for users. The switch complies with various characteristics such as mini size, no fan, low power consumption, high reliability and stability, and easy to maintain.
The Gigabit Managed PoE Switch complies with various characteristics such as mini size, no fan, low power consumption, high reliability and stability, and easy to maintain.
PoE Switch Flexible Combo Port
A combo port, also known as optoelectronic multiplexing interface, is the photoelectric composite port (panel) with two kinds of Ethernet interfaces (RJ45 port and SFP port) on an Ethernet switch. In other words, it is a compound port that can support two different physical and share the same switch fabric and port number. What separates these ports from being individual is that they’re tied to the same switch fabric. However, the two different ports can not be used simultaneously.
That is to say, when RJ45 port is activated, the SFP port is automatically disabled and vice versa.
Usually, the RJ45 port is connected by the twisted pairs while the SFP port needs copper or optical modules and patch cables.
The obvious merit of combo interface is that you still have more flexibility in terms of choosing your network connectivity type without taking up too much space.
Managed PoE Switch User-Friendly Software
SNMP & DHCP
Gigabit Managed PoE Switch Active SNMP, RMON, and Dynamic Host Control Protocol (DHCP). This gives the IT department the ability to add the managed switch to the network, communicate to the managed switch using SNMP, monitor remote traffic and notifications using RMON, and automatically configure IP addresses of the switch and end devices.
If you enable SNMP and DHCP on the FR-5M3208 then your IT department can access it remotely using their software.
GUI Management
Provides users with an intuitive and easy-to-use interface and immediate visual feedback, a GUI also allows a user to open up multiple programs or instances and displays these simultaneously.
The ease of use of GUIs has made it possible for the public in general, regardless of experience or knowledge, to access all kinds of systems for everyday use.
ERPS RING
Supports redundant ring technology and features strong, rapid self-recovery capability to prevent interruptions and external intrusions.
ERPS has a few distinct advantages over RSTP and MSTP. The most obvious is convergence time. Beyond that, the G.8032 protocol is the most universal of the three, and it is available on a wider range of hardware.
There is no theoretical limit on the number of rings that can be added to a network. So as long as you have sufficient bandwidth, you can keep adding nodes.

Three POE Mode
Disabled , Enable POE , Enabled POE+.Provide both 15.4-watt IEEE 802.3af devices and 30-watt IEEE 802.3at devices without power-socket restriction to provide high-speed transmissions at the same time.
PoE Timing Function
PoE schedule and timing for each PoE port, to extend switch life and reduce power consumption by setting a priority mode for each port. which is a powerful function to help SMBs or enterprises save power and budget. It also increases security by powering off PDs that should not be in use during non-business hours.
